Compatibility for a specific environment is confirmed during onboarding based on the actual infrastructure in place.

Does Patrol Sense require new hardware?

Not necessarily. Many Patrol Sense deployments can operate using compatible existing infrastructure, without requiring organizations to replace their current camera environment. Some organizations may still need additional networking components, supported integrations, deployment assistance, or targeted infrastructure adjustments, depending on the state of their environment and the products and capabilities they want to activate. What is actually required for a given customer is determined during onboarding based on the specific deployment. Patrol Sense does not represent every deployment as requiring no new hardware, and it does not represent every deployment as requiring hardware replacement. The correct answer depends on the environment.

Does Patrol Sense use facial recognition or voice recognition?

No. Patrol Sense does not use facial recognition or voice recognition. Patrol Sense focuses on understanding operational, safety, security, and compliance events, not on identifying specific individuals through their face or their voice. AI Detection, Forensic Search, and related capabilities are designed around events and operational context rather than biometric identification. Acoustic Detection is a planned capability within AI Detection and is not generally available today. It is designed to analyze supported sound events alongside video, is event-based and is not designed for speaker identification, voiceprint analysis, or monitoring private conversations. Patrol Sense does not represent any part of the platform as a facial recognition, voice identification, or biometric identification system.

Does Insurance Claim Report determine liability?

No. Insurance Claim Report does not determine liability. Patrol Sense is designed to help organizations organize available evidence into structured documentation that supports downstream review. It does not decide who is at fault, whether a claim should be accepted or denied, or how any incident should be legally characterized. Liability decisions remain the responsibility of insurers, legal professionals, investigators, adjusters, organizations, or other appropriate decision makers, working within their own processes and applicable law. Patrol Sense does not provide legal advice and is not a substitute for insurers, adjusters, attorneys, or other qualified professionals.

Enterprise pricing, portfolio pricing, annual agreements, reseller pricing, and custom commercial arrangements can differ from the public starting prices depending on deployment scope, the number of properties and cameras involved, the products and capabilities that are active, and the terms agreed for a specific engagement. Which integrations are available for any given customer depends on the deployment architecture, the customer's specific requirements, the platforms and workflows officially supported for that engagement, the commercial scope agreed with the customer, and implementation priorities. Some enterprise systems may be supported directly, others may be reached through documented interfaces, and some may not be supported. Patrol Sense does not publish an exhaustive vendor list on the public site. Supported integrations for a specific environment are confirmed during onboarding or in the relevant commercial documentation, and are not represented as universal.

During the evaluation process, Patrol Sense typically reviews the organization's operational goals, the property portfolio being considered, the existing camera infrastructure, deployment requirements, and workflow objectives. The appropriate combination of products (AI Detection, Neighborhood Detection, and Insurance Claim Report) and the deployment approach are then discussed on that basis. Requesting a demonstration is a starting point for that conversation. It is not, on its own, a commitment by Patrol Sense to implement any specific configuration, and it is not a commitment by the organization to proceed. Actual implementation is defined by the commercial documentation agreed after the evaluation.

How does Patrol Sense Connect help installers and customers?

Patrol Sense Connect is designed to make it easier for authorized installers and customers to work together during onboarding and ongoing operations, while keeping customers in control of their environment. Where supported, authorized installers can assist customers with onboarding, compatible camera connection, and other supported integrations, but only after the customer has authorized that access. Installers do not receive unrestricted access to customer data, cameras, or workflows. What an installer can see or do is determined by role-based access, customer authorization, and deployment configuration, and customers can adjust or remove permissions as their setup evolves. For customers, this means installers can help move onboarding and supported integrations forward without the customer having to manage every technical step directly, while control over permissions and access continues to sit with the customer.

Do we need to install anything inside our network?

It depends on where the cameras live. Cameras reachable only inside your private network need the Bridge agent, which is Patrol Sense software installed on an existing small server, VM, or industrial PC. Streams already reachable by the platform can be onboarded directly with no Bridge. The Bridge makes outbound HTTPS and WebSocket connections only, so no inbound firewall rules, port forwarding, static public IP, or VPN are required. Patrol Sense does not sell hardware.
